Who can enjoy the TrekTipi Corporate Challenge?

The corporate challenge can be enjoyed by groups or companies with a minimum group size of 8 people, up to a maximum of 16. There is a minimum age limit of 18 years. Although no previous mountain experience is necessary, due to the nature of the Corporate Event, a good level of fitness is required as you will be summitting two of the North Lakes' most iconic peaks during your challenge.

Here's what you can expect:

Taking place over two days, your TrekTipi corporate challenge will begin with the ascent of the iconic peak of Blencathra and it's equally iconic 'Sharp Edge' *

Coming off Blencathra in a NW direction puts you in perfect position to attack Skiddaw from The East, taking in Lonscale Fell and Little Man in the process. From the summit of Skiddaw, it's downhill all the way, right into the heart of Dodd Wood, where your camp site awaits you - Teepees pitched, fire roaring and kettle boiling!

Following an amazing night around the campfire and a good night's sleep in your teepee, the following day presents it's own challenge! Today's challenge is all about your lunch. Sounds simple? Not necessarily. Hidden around the surrounding woodland will be everything you need to make and prepare your lunch. Using simple navigation and orienteering techniques you will be expected to find a number of checkpoints hidden deep within the forest, each one containing equipment and information about how to prepare, cook and ultimately enjoy your lunch. Making your lunch this way won't be as straight forward as you might think. Teamwork and a little outdoor knowledge will go a long way with this challenge.

After lunch it will be time to pack up your things and head back down the mountain to our original meeting point. We'll be leaving you around 3pm to enjoy the rest of your time in the Northern Lakes"

* Sharp edge is an exposed knife-edge ridge and as such can be affected by adverse weather conditions. Should the weather come in during your event, your guides will make a decision based on the local conditions on whether to cross Sharp Edge or to ascend Blencathra via the Scales Tarn path to the South.
